The winner of a poker hand is the player with the best card combination. A poker hand is made up of "Hole Cards" (your own cards) and the "Board" (five community cards). The following hands start with the highest possible combination.
The highest straight of the same color, from 10 through Ace.
Any straight (see below) of the same color. Should two straights meet in the same game, the straight made up of the highest card denominations wins.
Also referred to as "Poker". Four cards of the same rank.
Three cards of one rank (Trips) together with two cards of another rank (Pair) produce a Full House.
Five cards of one color (any rank). Should two flushes meet in the same game, the straight made up of the highest card denominations wins.
Five cards of any suit in consecutive order. The highest straight wins. (The Ace can also be a "1" or as the highest card, for example: A,2,3,4,5.)
Three cards of the same rank.
Two cards of the same rank plus another two cards of the same rank. In case other players have the same combination, the high card ("Kicker") decides the game.
Two cards of the same value. In case other players have the same combination, the high card ("Kicker") decides the game.
Any combination of five cards which fulfills none of the above criteria. The player with the five higher cards wins.
